Changing filter freezes Google Chrome in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC)

• SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP Business Warehouse

1. Connect to SAP Analytics Cloud tenant
2. Open an existing Story created on a Live Data Connection to SAP Business Warehouse
3. Edit a chart
4. Add a Measure
5. Remove all current filters
6. Apply a new filter
7. Google Chrome freezes

This issue is caused by incorrect event handling in filters.
