2562975 - Improve import tool performance LRN-20673 B1711

Improvement made to the performance of the import tool (SYSTEM ADMIN > TOOLS). As a part of improved performance, LMS no longer allows adding and updating the same record in the same import file; for example, you cannot add a user with ID jdoe and first name John and then, in the same import file, update jdoe to have the first name Jane.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) 1711 and newer

1. Navigate to System Admin > Tools > Import Data.
2. Download the relevant template and add the line Items to the entity.
3. Import the data back using the updated template.

This enhancement applies to Instructor and Org budget imports ONLY. You will still be able to import any other entities with updates/new in the same import file.
