2562981 - Unable to Restrict Project Management Content by Company

You wish to restrict the content available for creating a new project under Project Management — specially the units available for selection in the Responsible Unit — by company assignment of the user who's creating the project.

SAP Business ByDesign

In SAP Business ByDesign, access restrictions depend on access contexts, which are set by default for each and every work center view. The access context that restricts access based on company is 1007 - Company; however, the access context used by the Project Management work center is 1001 - Project Management.

For the OVS (Object Value Selector) in use inside of the Project Management there will be no restrictions rule applied as the Access Context is the one valid for Project Management, in this case, 1001 - Project Management.

If you need to restrict content in Project Management by company., you may contact your implementation manager to help with such request or approach directly the SAP Cloud Service Center.
