Resolution
- How does the functionality of Collaborative step of Route Map works for Job Requisitions?
In route maps, collaborative step means that all the users in that step will have the requisition at the same time and they can edit. If there are no exit users, then the requisition must be completed by every person in the collaborative step. If all of the users are made as exit user, only then, all of them will have the permission to send it to the next step. - What is the behavior for when there isn't any Exit Users?
In the iterative step, the requisition moves to the next person after it is approved by the user who has the requisition currently. But in collaborative step, the requisition is with all the users in that step, but it needs to be completed by all of them if there are no exit users, only then it can be moved to the next step.
Hence, the solution of the above issue would be to make all the users in the collaborative step as exit users, so that any user in the collaborative step can send the requisition to the next step. - What is the behavior for when all users are Exit Users?
Let us suppose all of the users in the collaborative step are exit users. Let us say that the hiring manager has completed the requisition. On completing, he can move it to next step without waiting for other users to complete, since he/she is an exit user. Same behavior would be seen for all other users in that collaborative step. - I want to have two users doing the checkings of a job requisition in a step, but only one of them can approve it. How can I do it?
You can add only one of the users as the Exit User. That way, one of the users will be able to access the requisition and make changes, but only one of them will be able to send it to the next step.
