2564566 - Search must have multiple wildcards in some fields from transaction code IH08

Symptom

When search equipment by transaction code IH08, if only one wildcard '*' at the end of the material number (for example 12345*), no results are found even though there are equipment present with the material number. When setting both wildcard at the start and the end in the field (like *12345*),  the results are returned as expected.
The same symptom happens for equipment number field as well.
