2564690 - How to Verify if an Activity is Deleted in Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

  • Recruiter initiated Onboarding successfully, and activity was present in UI
  • The assignee in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding deleted the activity

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Resolution

Step 1: Verify if successfully initiated

  1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Recruiting > Candidate Name
  2. Type the candidate in the search function and click the name to redirect to applicant page
  3. Find the requisition where candidate applied
  4. In the Onboarding section, confirm if the status is Successful or Fail

Note: If successful, please see the next steps. If failed, there might be an issue with configuration or the service login is locked out.

Step 2: Verify Candidate in Manage Data

  1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Admin Center > Manage Data
  2. Use search function and select object 'CandidateObjectInfo'
  3. Find the name of the candidate in the 2nd search field
  4. If found get the 'kmsUserId' and 'email' and follow the step to verify candidate in Users in Security
  5. If the search failed to find the candidate, confirm if the name was changed in Onboarding before deletion as the name in Recruiting might be different in Manage Data
  6. If no result, try to proceed in verify candidate in Users in Security

Step 3: Verify Candidate in Security (Users)

  1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Onboarding > Security > Users
  2. In Recruiting, get the email of the candidate and if it is also available in Manage Data
  3. Use the search function and look for the user with the same e-mail
    1. If the user is available, confirm if the name is same with Recruiting and proceed on step 4
    2. If not same, copy the full name and use the search function in Onboarding Dashboard
    3. If the user is not available, try searching in Manage Data and follow the steps to Verify Candidate in Manage Data
    4. If available in Manage Data, copy kmsUserId and proceed to step 5
  4. Proxy as administrator user who can search all Onboarding candidates and use the search function in Onboarding Dashboard to locate affected candidate
  5. The user is probably deleted

Note: If the previous assignee is only receiving the issue and another user can find it in the dashboard, it is a permission issue.
