2564775 - Instructor unable to record learning in My Classes

The Record Completions button is missing in the instructors "My Classes" view.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. As an instructor, go to My Classes > Past Classes > Choose a class > Select the "Users" tab >
2. In the dropdown, with "All" and "Not Recorded Learning" options, the system should show the "Record Completions" button.

There are three scenarios that might be the cause:

1st Scenario: Instructor is missing the permission:

1. Learning Administration >
2. People > Instructors >
3. Search for the instructor and identify the role that is assigned to them >
4. Go to System Administration > Security > Role Management >
5. Search for the role and make sure that the instructor role has the "Add to Learning History" permission.

2nd Scenario: Users in the class and/or the class has "Include in Government Reporting" option enabled:

1. Learning Administration >
2. Learning Activities > Classes > Search for the class >
3. In the class record, go to the "Government Reporting" tab >
4. Uncheck "Include in Government Reporting" >
5. If the issue is still there, go back to identify the users in the class >
6. Check each user record and go to the "Government Reporting" tab >
7. Uncheck "Include in Government Reporting".

If "Government Reporting" is required, have an administrator provide completion.

3rd Scenario: The item and/or class has a "Purchasing Option" other than "No Charge":

1. If the "Purchasing Option" was a mistake:
1. Learning Activities > Classes and/or items >
2. "Purchasing" tab > Modify "Purchasing Option" to "No Charge" >
3. If commerce is utilized by your organization, the purchase orders might need to be refunded per your internal processes.
   
   
2. If the "Purchasing Option" wasn't a mistake and the instructor should be able to provide completions for classes that have a cost associated:
1. Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration >
2. Edit "FINANCIAL" property file >
3. Update "enableRecordCompletionInInstructorViewWithFinance" to "true" >
4. Apply Changes.
