2564889 - Notification does not display changes done on template

A notification template was changed/updated, however these changes does not appear on the notification when the user receives it.

1. Proceed performing some changes on a Notification Template using the Content Notification Editor (not the legacy one)
2. Trigger this notification to a test user - do not use the button 'Send Preview' from inside the Editor. Instead, re-create the scenario for LMS to trigger the notification
3. You will notice that the notification does not show the changes that you performed

Two reasons:

1. The particular record already has a customized template. When the template at the record level is modified, that record will never use the global template
2. The template missing the enablement of the Content Editor Notification for the Notification Template you customized. This way, LMS will use the Legacy Notification Editor, as per the following screenshot

The record already has a customized template. Key points:

• There is no way to revert back a customized template to use the global template.
• If the global template is modified, the record's template must be modified manually if there is a need for conformity.
• There are multiple entities such as Survey, Items, and Classes that can have customized templates on each unique record.

1. For example the ItemEvaluationAssignmentNotification template. Navigate to Content > Surveys
2. Search and access a Survey > Email Notifications tab
3. If the template on the survey record was modified, it will not be showing the global customizations
4. Modify the template to mimic the global if necessary

Enabling the Editor:

1. Navigate to System Admin > Manage Email >Email Notification Templates
2. Choose the template you are customizing
3. Click Messages tab
4. Enable the option 'Use Editor Content When Sending email Notification'
