How to change the star rating scale text in LMS?

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login as a user in LMS.
  2. Go to Learning History Tile
  3. Hover over the mouse cursor to any of the courses in Learning History (Note: Items should have the 'Enable User Ratings' set to 'Yes' at the item level)

Cause

These texts are displayed based on the values that are set for each labels.

Resolution

 To change the text that appears on hovering your mouse cursor:

  1. Login as a admin in LMS
  2. Navigate to References> Manage Labels> Labels
  3. Search and edit the label ID from the list:
Label ID Text
label.LovedIt  Loved It
label.HatedIt   Hated It
label.DidntLikeIt   Didn't Like It
label.ReallyLikedIt   Really Liked It
label.LikedIt   Liked It
  1. Go to Locales tab and edit the text for the locales that you wish to edit.
  2. Once the changes are made, click on Apply Changes.
