2565245 - Stock factor table is not supported for Comp-EC integration template

Symptom

Stock factor table is not supported for Comp-EC integration template error is promted when trying to copy / clone an EC intergrated template.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core
  • Talent Management
  • Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  • Go to Admin Center > Compensation Home and click on the template that you would like to copy.
  • The system shows the following error:

Cause

  • You might be using stock factor table in template (EC integrated) that you are trying to copy.
  • We currently do not support stock factor tables for EC integrated templates.
  • The error is due to a validation introduced by product team to make sure that customers are aware that this feature is not supported.

Resolution

  1. Delete the stock factor table from the template.
  2. Open the downloaded xml file remove the following xml code.

<stock-units-calc>
<factor-table key="JOBLEVEL">COMP_FACTORS</factor-table>
</stock-units-calc>

    3.  Save the xml, upload it into the instance and then you should be able copy the template.
