The SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit is used to migrate Materials in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
The Number range configuration is set to use internal numbering, however system assumes as external numbering.

Cause
The API BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEREPLICA used for data migration object MATERIAL does not support internal number ranges, therfore only external numbering is used.
Resolution
The migration object Material (SIF_MATERIAL) in the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit can only migrate materials using external numbering.
Since SAPSCORE 1911 / S4CORE 2020 there is a new migration object available (SIF_PRODUCT) which can be used instead. The new migration object offers internal and external numbering.
