2565681 - How to set up the Required/Mandatory field in BP transaction based on BP role - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • A field (e.g. "Payment Methods", "City") needs to be set as mandatory in transaction BP for a specific BP role, but it currently appears as optional.

  • When the mandatory field is left empty, the system should display error message R1304 ("Required field XXX has no entry"), but the message is not shown.

  • Additionally, when navigating between tabs in the BP maintenance screen, no error is raised if the mandatory field is not filled.
