2565789 - Error when using Mass Data entry to enter data into unbooked cells in SAP Analytics Cloud (BOC) & SAP Digital Boardroom

Error when using mass data entry feature to enter data into unbooked cells in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC).

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2017.21.2

1. Open a Story with a table referencing a planning model set up for data input.
2. Find a row with only unbooked cells.
3. Use mass data entry (MDE) mode to enter a few values into two or three columns.
4. Click the process button in the Mass Data Entry window.
5. Errors are generated and data is not saved.

The following error message will also appear:

Failed to initialize the session 'user: 'USERNAME', schema: 'TENANT', model: 'MODELNAME', version: '1''. EPM exception thrown: Persistent parameter currencyConversion.targetCurrency: Expected either string parameter value or option list

An error occurred while populating a single version

This issue will be resolved in version 2017.24
