Enabling Search Inactive Users in the Global Header

1. The SOLR People Search is enabled in Provisioning (the backend). Please engage your Implementation Partner for assistance
2. Once that has been completed, follow the guide below to enable the Show Inactive User in People Search feature (requires Role-based Permissions) via the Admin Center:

IMPORTANT: Once this feature is enabled, all users with access to People Search will be able see inactive users in search results.

• Follow the guide below to enable the search for people using additional keywords:
  Allowing Searching for Employees by Additional Search Criteria in the Global Header

• It is not possible to restrict the visibility of inactive users or additional keywords in People Search based on permission role

Note: In order to be able to Search Inactive Users in the Gloabl Header, users must also have the permission Manage Recruits/Manage Hires > Include Inactive Employees in the search

This allows control over who can and cannot search for inactive users.
