2566949 - Production Model Will Not Be Released By Run

A Production Model Release Run is not releasing the Production Model ABC. But when try to release it manually, it works fine.

ABC = Production Model ID

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Model Release Run view.
3. Find the Run XXX.
4. Open the erroneous Application Log.
5. Go to Results tab.
6. Click Expand All.

Notice that there is an error message:

Production Models released unsuccessfully

Production Model: ABC

XXX = Run ID

The release run can be used after firstly releasing the Production Model for planning and execution if there are any changes made in the BoO or BOM. The Production model needs to be released manually for planning and execution and later the Run can be used to release it again after making any changes in BoO or BoM.

You can release the Production Model ABC manually. To do so, follow the steps:

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Models view.
3. Find the Production Model ABC.
4. Open the Production Model ABC.
5. Click View All.
6. Select Release Production Model.
7. Select For Planning and Execution.

The Production Model ABC will be released successfully.
