2567173 - How to Assign Line Item Group of BoM and By-product to Activity in Production Model Using the Production Model Migration Template.

You would like to migrate production models while assign line item group of BoM and by-product to activity.

You are able to assign line item group of BoM and by-product to activity in the master data edit screen of production model from UI. You are not sure how to do the same via migration of production models.

As of now, it is not possible to assign line item group of BoM and by-product to activity using the production model migration template.

In the Production Model migration template, as there is no column for assigning the Bill of materials line items, these items were not assigned under the Product Assignment tab automatically.

After migrating the data, you have to perform the Assign Line Item Group to Activity for the BoM line items manually in the production model.

Note: If the line items are not assigned to any line item group activity then, by default, system assigns the line items to the first Produce activity.
