2567187 - Unable to Add Extension Fields in Stock Overview Screen.

User has added an extension field for a product in the Product Data work center and wants to include this field in the Stock Overview screen however it is not available.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Product Portfolio work center and  Materials view.
2. Open any material and Choose View All
3. Enter Adaptation mode
4. Right Click on a field from the General Tab, then click on "+Extension Field"
5. Create a new field, or select an existing one, then click on "Further Usage"
6. Navigate to the Extension Scenarios tab
7. Here you can see the scenarios however no scenarios available to extend to stock overview.
8. Now,
9. Go to the Inbound Logistics work center.
10. Select the Stock Overview link under the heading Related Links.
11. Choose Adapt button on the top left corner and select the option Enter Adaptation Mode.
12. A window pops up asking for the confirmation, select Yes
13. Again choose Adapt button on the top left corner and select the option Edit This Screen.
14. Now select the heading Extension fields.
15. Under the section List of Fields, the field added in the product data screen is not visible here.

This is a standard system behaviour.

In the current version of SAP Business ByDesign System, the Stock Overview screen is not extensible. Hence, no option shows up for adding the extension fields.
