Resolution

This enhancement supports the right to erasure or “be forgotten” as prescribed within Data Protection and Privacy regulation – essentially allowing the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to effectively purge personal data associated with a subject user.  The DPO can use the newly redesigned Data Time Retention Management tool available through Manage Data in Admin Center.

Prerequisites & Configuration

  1. Role Based Permissions (RBP)
  2. Admin Center > Data Retention Management > DRTM Continuous Performance Management
  3. MDF (Generic Objects)
  4. Enable DRM: Company Setting > Company System and Logo Settings> Data Retention Management

Deployment Note

In the Q4 2017 release, purge will not support data deletion, however preview report can be generated. Feature will be available in Preview and Production environments.
