When executing a HANA view in Analysis for Office, the button to open the Value Help is missing for a date variable so it is not possible to open the Date Picker/Calendar.
Environment
SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office
Cause
The Value Help button does not appear for variables of type "Direct" and Semantic Type "Date". This is a limitation in Analysis Office 2.x which is already in the backlog for evaluation.
Resolution
Change the type of the variable from "Direct" to "Column" in order to use the Value Help.
