Symptom
- What is the use of Merge Similar Employee Central Records setting?
- Why do we see only 1 records for terminated employees where as there should have been 2 records?
Environment
Successfactors Variable Pay
Reproducing the Issue
- Login as Admin > Compensation Home > Open Template > Manage Users > Edit Employee History.
- Search for Employee and observe that there is only record.
Cause
This is because "Merge Similar Employee Central Records" option is Set to Yes in Plan Setup > Employee Central Settings.
Resolution
Please Set this option to No to see different records.
