  • What is the use of Merge Similar Employee Central Records setting?                                        
  • Why do we see only 1 records for terminated employees where as there should have been 2 records?

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login as Admin > Compensation Home > Open Template > Manage Users > Edit Employee History.
  2. Search for Employee and observe that there is only record.


This is because "Merge Similar Employee Central Records" option is Set to Yes in Plan Setup > Employee Central Settings.


Please Set this option to No to see different records.
