2567674 - New MDF Custom Objects are not Appearing in Employee Claim

Symptom

We have created a custom Benefit object  "Telephone / Internet Reimbursement" but the custom fields from this object is not appearing while employee claiming a Reimbursement.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

Employee Central - Benefits

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Proxy as test user
  2. Go to my benefit - Reimbursements
  3. Scroll to Telephone / Internet Reimbursement
  4. Click on start claim

Cause

Configuration

  1. Object Definition: Benefit Employee Claim (BenefitEmployeeClaim)
  2. Scroll down to
  3. Associations

Resolution

  1. Go To Manage Configuration UI
  2. Select BenefitEmployeeClaimConfigUI
  3. Select any field
  4. Save 

After adding new custom objects and hence a refresh on the config UI is required to see those during run time. The issue is resolved after the refresh of config UI

Clear MDF cache and run MDF object definition to DB sync job:
