2567957 - MFC seeing a SQLCODE = -312, when using the DB2 Caching Option.

Symptom

  • Turning the DB2 Caching Option to Yes in the MFC Configuration (screen print below) causes certain queries to return DB2 -312 SQL Error code.
    The default setting is No.
  • Message:
    Msg 30000, Level 11, State 42:
    Procedure 'AMD2', Line 618:
    DB2 Access Module DBMS error (DB2 PREPARE failed:  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -312,
    ERROR:  VARIABLE *N IS NOT DEFINED OR NOT USABLE
