2568223 - "Alert - Internal Server Error" when opening SAP Mobile Platform cockpit

Symptom

  • Whenever we access SMP via the server hostname based URL it works fine:https://hostname:8083/Admin/
  • When we try and access the SMP node using https://my_hostname:8083/Admin we get a random "Alert - Internal Server Error" popping up.
  • This issue affects both the Cockpit (port 8083) and the applications (port 8081 and port 8080).
  • Chrome/Firefox Inspector shows the error: java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character at index X as shown in the screenshot below:
