Symptom
When generating the Government Reporting Learning Events report, it does not contain all the expected user data.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Cause
For data to appear in the Government Reporting Learning Events report, when recording the item completion in the 'Record Learning - Financial' process, the value selected for Training Funding must be set to Company Funded. The report is designed only to report on those values where the Training Funding value is set to Yes for Company Funded.
Check what is setup for your instance in References > Learning > Training Funding
Selecting the values is usually in Step 6 of 'Record Learning - Financial'
Resolution
There are two ways that this can be resolved.
- Update the details via the Learning Event Editor.
Search for the user in question and the item(s) which are not appearing on the report and open in edit mode. Display the Government Reporting tab and update the Training Funding, selecting the option which is associated to Company Funded. Then select Apply Changes.
- When there is a large number of users/items to update
If the volume of users is too large to update manually, then you will have to contact Services requesting that they update the relevant database tables.
