Prerequisites:

• Ensure a survey is created with text fields included in its design.
  
• Use the Visit business object as an example.
  

1. Navigate to the Visits work center.
   
2. Select the Visits view.
   
3. Open a visit record.
   
4. Access the Survey facet.
   
5. Select the relevant survey.
   
6. Click the Actions button.
   
7. Choose the Edit option.
   
8. Input a text exceeding 3020 characters in one of the text fields.
   
9. Click the Submit button.
   
10. Observe the error message: "Please shorten the text. The entered text is too long."
    
    

The system enforces a maximum character limit of 3020 for text fields during survey runtime.

1. Ensure text input does not exceed 3020 characters in survey text fields.
   
2. If the error occurs, reduce the text length to comply with the character limit.
