2568617 - How to enable and add dpserver

Symptom

You want to enable or add dpserver.

You execute one of the followng SQL commands:

  • ALTER DATABASE my_database ADD 'dpserver' AT LOCATION 'hostA:3XX11';
  • ALTER DATABASE SYSTEMDB ADD 'dpserver' AT LOCATION 'hostA:3XX11'

But you got error: SAP DBTech JDBC: [7]: feature not supported: ALTER database command on SYSTEMDB only.
