2568957 - More than Two Decimal Places are Shown for Currency Related Fields

Custom / Extension fields of type currency are not following the rules defined for the number of decimals in Business Configuration

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects.
3. Select your implementation project and press the Open Activity List button.
4. Navigate to the Fine Tuning step and search for the Currencies activity.

Here you see the number of decimals which are predefined according to ISO code list 4217 , nevertheless the fields arent adhering to the activity defined.

Currently currency type extension fields renders the entire length/decimal places as defined during creation and it's not based on precision or currency settings. Only standard fields have the logic in place to render it as per the settings / precision.

This is the current system behavior and alternatively this can be controlled / defined at the time of creation of the field from their properties.
