2569202 - Library filters for Language and Currency not removed

Administrator would like to hide the filtering options displayed in the user's Library search for the Language & Currency.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login to the SuccessFactors as a user >
2. Navigate to Learning home page >
3. Go to the Library search ('Browse all courses' option)
4. Observe the button is available to only search for specific languages and/or currencies

As per the feedback provided by our Development team, it is not possible to turn off or disable the Language and Currency filter in the library search currently in the SF Learning.

Should customers want to have this behavior changed in future version of the application, we recommend creating an enhancement request describing the desired behavior (please check KBA 2090228 for steps on how to submit an enhancement request).

Additional information:

Please note that the setting "expandCatalogSearchBarFilters=" (in System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LIBRARY) is not meant to disable this filter but allows specifying whether or not the filters are expanded by default for the users.

This setting that specifies if the filter is expanded or not is sticky for each user. Once a user expands or contracts the filters, it will remain that way until the user changes it. The configuration has no impact at this point as the user selection overrides that setting.
