2569202 - Library filters for Language and Currency not removed

Administrator would like to hide the filtering options displayed in the user's Library search for the Language & Currency.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login to the SuccessFactors as a user >
2. Navigate to Learning home page >
3. Go to the Library search ('Browse all courses' option)
4. Observe the button is available to only search for specific languages and/or currencies

It is not possible to turn off or disable the Language and Currency filter in the library search currently in the SF Learning. This is no longer visible in Enhanced Search as Legacy Search is being deprecated and removed as mentioned in the What's New Viewer topic.

Additional information:

Please note that the setting "expandCatalogSearchBarFilters=" (in System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LIBRARY) is not meant to disable this filter but allows specifying whether or not the filters are expanded by default for the users.

This setting that specifies if the filter is expanded or not is sticky for each user. Once a user expands or contracts the filters, it will remain that way until the user changes it. The configuration has no impact at this point as the user selection overrides that setting.
