Resolution

Common Roles
To ensure the most common options can be configured without the use of codes, there is a drop down list for common roles when adding a Route Map Step. If the step type you want to configure includes common roles for single, iterative and collaboration methods, you can easily configure it without using codes.
The following roles can be selected via a dropdown to create single roll, iterative and collaborative step types.
Role Code | Role Description | Step Type | Product Edition |
E | Employee | All | All |
EM | Employee's manager | All | All |
EMM | Employee's second level manager | All | All |
EX | Employee's first matrix manager | All | All except PE |
EP | All employee's matrix managers | All | All except PE |

U | User | Single and Signature Step | All |

Custom Roles
If a specific role is not included in above table, you can specify the role by using a custom code. The custom code edit box will accept any code we current support today.
To configure these roles, define the step owner as Custom role and enter the Role code listed below.

R | Recruiter in Recruiting | All | All |
