2570263 - How to Create Outbound Delivery for Partially Confirmed Line Items in a Pick Task

You have a pick task with multiple line items. You only want to confirm a few of the line items, and you want to create Outbound Delivery for the confirmed line items. You want to know how to do so.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the Task Control view.
3. Search for the pick task ID you want to confirm, select it and choose the confirm button.
4. In the task confirmation screen enter the same actual quantity as the open quantity for the items that have stock and enter 0 (zero) for the line items that do not have stock.
5. Click the Save button.

You can see that there is no Outbound Delivery created for the items that have been confirmed with the same actual quantity as the open quantity.

You need to choose the Late Delivery Split button (which is available in the task confirmation screen) to create Outbound Delivery for the confirmed line items in the task.

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Select the Task Control view.
3. Search for the relevant task you want to confirm and select it.
4. Choose the Confirm button.
5. In the task confirmation screen enter the same actual quantity as the open quantity for the items that have stock and 0 (zero) for the line items that do not have stock.
6. Choose the Late Delivery Split button and finally, select the Save button.

An Outbound Delivery is created for all the confirmed line items with the reported quantity.
