2570266 - Error "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" when opening project (or similar error message)

Symptom

You access the Project Management dashboard and try to open a project. The new window displays error message "This page cannot be displayed" or a similar error message (e.g. concerning an invalid certificate). You may notice that the URL which the browser is trying to open is not correct (e.g. protocol HTTPS is used instead of HTTP, the Domain or Port are wrong).

Alternatively, you can open the project but the URL which is used is not the desired one (HTTP, Domain or Port are wrong).
