2570270 - BKI5008E and ANS1017E during BRBACKUP with BACKINT

Symptom

  • You are executing a database backup with BRBACKUP and backint and it takes a long time to finish.
  • The BRBACKUP execution finishes with warnings:
BR0053I BRBACKUP completed successfully with warnings
  • In the BRBACKUP log, you can see warnings when calling backint:
BR0279W Return code from '/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run/backint -u <SID> -f backup -i /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup/.bexdwrse.lst -t file -p /oracle/<SID>/<version>/dbs/init<SID>.utl -c': 1
BR1521W Backup utility called successfully with warnings
  • There are messages similar to the following during the execution:
BKI1208W: The object '/oracle/<sid>/sapdataX/sr3_X/sr3.dataX' will be retried [2].
BKI5008E: Tivoli Storage Manager Error:
ANS1017E (RC-50) Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure.
