Symptom
You are creating an Intrastat Declaration XYZ for the country Italy (XYZ represents the Intrastat Declaration ID), however the Delivery Terms are inconsistent in the document and not recognised by the system.
Reproducing the Issue
-
Go to the Intrastat work centre.
-
Go to the Intrastat Declarations view.
-
Show All Declarations.
-
Find XYZ.
-
Select Edit.
-
Go to the Items tab.
-
Select an inconsistent line.
-
Check the dropdown list for the Delivery Terms field.
The value currently present in the Delivery Terms field is not available in the dropdown list. It has been wrongly created by the system.
Cause
Due to the specificity of Italian intrastat declarations, the Delivery Terms data is stored in a unique way for Italy. As the data is processed differently, the system marks it as inconsistent.
Resolution
This error will not prevent the declaration from being released.
You can release the declaration and use the Export function to general the Excel file. As Italy uses a declaration file with the delivery terms represented by one letter, you can manually change the value in the Excel to the first letter of the name of the Delivery terms before saving it as a .CSV file, ie. `E` instead of `Ex works`.
