When importing a Role-Job Codes file via Manage Job Content Import/Export, opening the CSV file from the job shows an error:

1. Invalid job code: [XX]. **** 2. Invalid job code: [XX].

• SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder
• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Log in to SuccessFactors
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Tools > Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export
3. In the Type dropdown, select Role-Job Codes
4. In the File field, browse for your Role-Job Codes CSV file
5. Select the Import button
6. Navigate to Admin Center > Tools > Scheduled Job Manager
7. Locate the job and select View Details
8. Open the download and the error is present

• The job code is either not defined in the user data file or is not assigned to an active employee
• The mapped Job Code/Job Classifications to the roles are inactive.

The job code will need to be tied to an active employee in the User data file. To identify if the Job Classifications or Job Code are inactive, please follow the below steps:

Job Classification

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Tools > Manage Data
2. In the first Search, select Job Classification
3. In the second Search, select the job code returned from the error file
4. Locate the Status field to confirm if the job code is active
5. If the status is not active, select Take Action > Make Correction
6. Change the Status field to Active > Save

Job Code

1. Download the user data file by following the steps in Managing User Information - Exporting User Data
2. Open the CSV file and locate the JOBCODE column (column O)
3. Filter for the job code returned from the error file
4. Review the data under the STATUS column (column A) to confirm all employees are active
5. If the status is inactive for any employee, change the status to active and save
6. Reimport the file:
• If you have Employee Central enabled, please process a Basic User Import starting with Managing Mass Changes in Employee Central - Uploading Import Files
• If you do not have Employee Central enabled, please follow the steps in Managing User Information - Importing User Data
