2570743 - Lead IDs in the system are different from the Lead IDs in the Migrated File

You require to migrate the Leads from an External system to SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer. After migrating the Leads, the Lead IDs in the system are different from those provided in the Migrated file.

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

To migrate Leads:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
3. Search and Open the activity Migration of Leads
4. Select Migrate leads using the migration tool
5. Upload the Migration File
6. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File with Migration Mode Add new records
7. Migration is Completed

 

To check the availability of the migrated Lead ID: XXXXX (where XXXXX represents the Lead ID)

1. Go to Sales work center
2. Go to Leads view
3. Search for the Migrated Lead XXXXX
4. Unable to find the Lead ID: XXXXX

When you migrate Leads into the system, it will take New numbers by Migration service, from the Internal Number Ranges maintained in the Leads activity in Business Configuration work center.

However, you must fill the Lead ID field in the migration template which is the identifier for the Lead. It is used for template-internal identification between different worksheets and will not be migrated. The system will use internal numbering during the creation of Leads.

It is not possible to upload the same Lead IDs as maintained in the Number Range in your External system. This is the expected system behavior.

The Lead ID which you have provided in the Migration File will be External ID of Leads of External system, which can be later used when you Enhance and Modify existing records.

To track the previous Leads IDs that were already used for Migration of new Leads into the system, we can follow the below steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
3. Search and Open the activity Migration of Leads
4. Select Migrate leads using the migration tool
5. Show Completed Files
6. Select You Can Also at the top right corner of the screen
7. Choose Export Value Conversion to File
8. You will be able to see the Translation Object and the LEAN_LEAD_ID field which are already used for migration
