Is it possible to use Business Rules to populate a field in Employee Profile?

Cause
This is currently not supported.
Resolution
As per the current product design, there are two main areas that use the Rules Engine to create rules: Employee Central (EC) and the Metadata Framework (MDF), for other modules this is not supported. In case you consider this as an important change for the product, submit your idea in the community.
