How to make a non-working day (e.g Saturday) as a working day for an employee in Time Off?

Reproducing the Issue

  • As per the current Work Schedule, employees are assigned to a 5-day workweek — for example, Monday to Friday as working days, with Saturday and Sunday designated as non-working days.
  • The current requirement is to modify the schedule to set Saturday (previously a non-working day) as a working day.

Resolution

To make the changes for an individual employee, it can be done via the Temporary Work Schedule. Refer to:

For changes to multiple employees via import:

  1. Create a Work Schedule with only one day as a working day.
  2. Admin Center -> Import and Export Data -> Import Temporary Time Information for all relevant employees by assigning the created Work Schedule. (Refer to the screenshot of the object below.)
