2570983 - Ship-To Location Description Not Visible In Purchasing Documents

Ship-To location description is not visible while creating purchasing documents.

SAP Business ByDesign

For example,

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Select Self Services view.
3. Select Go Shopping (Advanced) under Shopping.
4. Enter the Ship-To Location.

You can see only the Ship-To location ID and not the Description.

Ship-To location Name is maintained in language X. Your login language is Y. You can see the Ship-To location ID but not the Ship-To location Name/Description.

Ship-To location Description is not maintained.

As a result only the Ship-To location ID is be displayed.

If Ship-To location Name is maintained in language X, the name will be displayed only when user logs in using language X.

User has to maintain the Ship-To location Description to view in different login language.

Kindly follow the below steps:

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center
2. Select Locations view
3. Search for the Site/Location XYZ (XYZ refers to Site ID)
4. Click Edit
5. Navigate to General tab
6. Maintain the Site Description
7. Click Save and Close

The Site Description will be displayed when the user logs in via a different language.
