2571057 - How to Restrict Users not to see Catalogs Belonging to Other Company

Symptom

You are able to see all catalogs belonging to various companies while creating Shopping Cart

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Home work center
  2. Select Self Services view
  3. Select sub-view Self Services Overview
  4. Select Go Shopping(Advanced)
  5. Create a new shopping cart
  6. When you select Products, you can see all catalogs

Cause

It is not possible to restrict users from seeing catalogs belonging to other company in shopping carts

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior

As an alternative, you can make use of Contracts, List Price, Fixed Source of Supply so that while creating the purchasing document like Purchase Order, system will pick the price from these source of supply.
