2571064 - Code List Restriction Threshold

Symptom

You notice various issues with your Code List Restriction, when trying to edit it. The problems can be (not limited to):

  • slow performance
  • timeout dump
  • miscellaneaus error messages
  • offline download/sync

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the work center Administrator.
  2. Go To the General Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Code List Restrictions.
  4. Try to edit one of the Code List Restrictions.

Cause

The system can only handle 100 * 100 values in a Code List Restrictions, meaning the number of values either for the Code To Restrict or for the Control Field cannot exceed 100.

Resolution

Either use a different scenario or reduce the number of values in the fields used.
