Symptom
When you try to create a new Fixed Asset, you noticed that the Fixed Asset class which you need is not available to select. You also noticed, that it is working for company DEF, however for company ABC it is not working.

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Work Center Fixed Asset.
- Select the Fixed Asset sub-view.
- Click New Fixed Asset.
- Select the Company ABC.
The Fixed Asset Class XYZ cannot be found, however if you change the company and try with a different one this Fixed Asset gets available.
Cause
The Company ABC and DEF uses different Set of Books.
I.e:
Company DEF use Set of Books XX. This set of books have valuations views for US.
Company ABC use Set of Books YY and ZZ, both Set of Books have valuations views for CA.
If you check, under the Business Configuration, the activity Fixed Asset Classes and search for the Fixed Asset Class XYZ, you see that this is only assigned to US valuation views.
Resolution
You need to maintain a Valuation View for CA as well by following the steps below:

Go to Business Configuration work center.
- Select Implementation Projects Sub-view.
- Select the a Project.
- Show Activity List.
- Click All Activities.
- Open the Activity Fixed Asset Class.
- Click Edit Fixed Asset Class.
- Search for the Asset Class XYZ.
Under Valuation View click Add Row and maintain a proper valuation for the Respective Country. I.e CA.
