2571222 - Not Able to Select Fixet Asset Class XYZ

When try to create a new Fixed Asset, the Fixed Asset class which is not available to select. Also noticed that it is working for company DEF (DEF represents the company ID), however for company ABC it is not working (ABC represents the company ID).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Fixed Asset Work Center.
2. Select the Fixed Asset sub-view.
3. Click New Fixed Asset.
4. Select the Company ABC.

The Fixed Asset Class XYZ cannot be found, however if changing the company to DEF, this Fixed Asset gets available (XYZ represents the fixed asset class ID).

The Company ABC and DEF uses different Set of Books, and no Valuation View is maintained for the Respective Country.

e.g:

Company DEF uses Set of Books XX. This set of books have valuations views for country AA (AA represents the country name).

Company ABC use Set of Books YY and ZZ, both Set of Books have valuations views for BB (BB represents the country name).

If checking under the Business Configuration, the activity Fixed Asset Classes and search for the Fixed Asset Class XYZ. It is only assigned to valuation views. for country AA.

Need to maintain a Valuation View for BB as well by following the steps below:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects Sub-view.
3. Select the Project.
4. Show Activity List.
5. Click All Activities.
6. Open the Activity Fixed Asset Class.
7. Click Edit Fixed Asset Class.
8. Search for the Asset Class XYZ.

Under Valuation View click Add Row and maintain a proper valuation for the Respective Country BB.
