Symptom

The following chart error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud:

  • [ABC] is invalid because it depends on invalid calculation [XYZ]

If you select the the invalid calculation [XYZ] (which is a restricted measure) the following chart error occurs:

  • Time calculations do not support having a story/page/group filter and a chart filter defined on the Time dimension at the same time.

If you remove the story/page/group filter or chart filter, this error may also occur:

    • The Time dimension must be drilled to Fiscal Period or a lower level for [XYZ] to appear.
