2571944 - During Question Import, the job fails with error

Symptom

During question import at System Administration>System Management Tools>Import Data>import Entity type Questions, the job fails with error:

  • The objective ID you specified either does not exist or you do not have permission to use it here
  • The data in the following cell is incorrectly formatted

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login Learning Administration
  2. System Administration
  3. System Management Tools
  4. Import Data
  5. import Entity type Questions
  6. Upload the file

Cause

  • The import job is used to associate Questions with existing Objective IDs. Creating new Objectives in batch is not supported.
  • The Objective IDs in the upload file must exist in the SuccessFactors learning system already.

 

Resolution

Please make sure the Objective ID exists in the LMS; and if not, create them manually first and import the file.
