2572402 - Permission Group - Cannot delete criteria

Symptom

When editing an existing permission group we are not able to delete the criteria of the people pool (e.g. positions form the option Job Information-position).

Environment

Employee Central - Role Based Permissions, Permission Group

Reproducing the Issue

Delete or deactivate one of the job code or position that forms part of a permission group;
In the permission group, the row that contained the deleted job code or position becomes blank;
Thereafter it becomes impossible to delete any of the criteria.
Clicking on the delete basket has no effect

Step 1:Go to Manage Permission Groups

Step 2:Search for a group (e.g. Position)

Step 3:Edit Positions

Step 4:Try to delete one position (trash can)

Clicking on the delete basket has no effect

Cause

This is currently being investigated by Engineering.

Resolution

Workaround:

The workaround is to add a Position or Job code to the blank row in the Permission group, then you can delete rows from the group. Is because they deactivated or deleted the Position that once occupied the blank row
