Symptom

  • Rep Agent process (spid) is unexpectedly terminated:

Shutting down Rep Agent for database, 'ERP_xx' (dbid = 23).

  • ASE errorlog contains an "infected with signal 11" error in ra__ci_destroy_stop_scanner() with a stack trace:

Current process (0x5210291) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x0000000002284341 (ra__ci_destroy_stop_scanner+0x499), siginfo (code, address) = (128, 0x(nil))

  • The stack trace includes the following functions:

ra__ci_destroy_stop_scanner
ra__ci_destroy
ra_ci_main_thread
