2572763 - RFC communication error in TMS

In the STMS System Overview, when you do connection test for each system, it is OK.

Also in SM59, when you do the connection test for TMSADM@<SID>.TP_DOMAIN_<TMS_DOMAIN_CONTROLLER_SID>, it is also OK.

You have checked your network settings and you did not find any problems yet.

But in the import overview,  when you open the import queue for one system, and when you refresh the import queue, you got error below:

RFC communications error with system/destination %%

ashost=<hostname>,sysnr=,lang=E,client=<nnn>....

Error while determining the RFC connection parameters

For example, you might get the error screen below:

Diagnosis

An RFC error occurred in the TMS communications layer.

Target system: TMSADM@<SID>.TP_DOMAIN_<TMS_DOMAIN_CONTROLLER_SID>

Function: TMS_TP_ADD2BUFFER

RFC message: Error while determining the RFC connection parameters

System Response

The function terminates.

Procedure

Correct the error and execute the command again.

* The issue may happen on different functions and you may get different RFC messages.
