2572976 - Error Message: 'MDRO Instance Not Active', When Scheduling Confirmation Update Run.

You are trying to schedule a Confirmation Update Run, Run ID XYZ (XYZ represents the specified Run ID). But when you choose Schedule, system gives error message: 'MDRO instance is not active'.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to work center Outbound Logistic Control.
2. Select view Automated Actions - Confirmation Update Runs.
3. Show All Confirmation Update Run
4. Search for Run ID XYZ and choose Edit.
5. In the Confirmation Update Run window, choose Set to Active to enable Schedule button.
6. In Schedule Job window, choose Save and got error message: 'MDRO instance is not active'.

Error occurs because Confirmation Update Run ID XYZ is not activated. If you check the status for Run ID XYZ, you will find the status is In Preparation.

To activate Confirmation Update Run XYZ, please follow below steps:

1. Go to work center Outbound Logistic Control.
2. Select view Automated Action - Confirmation Update Runs.
3. Show All Confirmation Update Run
4. Search for Run ID XYZ and choose Edit.
5. In the Confirmation Update Run window, choose Set to Active.
6. Choose Save to make sure activation is stored.
7. Choose Schedule and then Save it, there will be no error message.

Now if you go back to View Automated Action - Confirmation Update Runs and refresh it, you will find status is Active.
