Add new field to Job Classification

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Configure Object Definition
2. Under the Search dropdown, select "Object Definition" and then "Job Classification"

3. On the right corner, click Take Action > Make Correction
4. Scroll down and add the new field to the Job Classification definition
• Note: Because of the mapping process that links the hris-field ids from the Job Classification foundation object to the jobCode fields in the Requisition form there's a limitation of 16 custom fields that can be related in Job Classification Library (1 Description field + CustomString1-15 Job Requisition Fields)
5. Define type of field based on requirement
6. Save the changes:

7. Populate data on the Job Classification codes for the new field (Use Manage Data or Import Data)

Map new Job Classification field to an available Job Requisition field

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Setup Job Requisition Job Code Mapping
2. The new field on Job Classification should show on the left-hand side
3. Map it to an available field on the Job Requisition column
4. The value selected here will be added to the Job Requisition template:

NOTE: Recruiting module does not support the mapping for Job Classification Country specific.

Modify Job Requisition Template

1. Add new Job Code Entity field to the Requisition template
• Note: Ensure the Manage Template feature is enabled and users have permissions granted.
• For additional information, please refer to KB article 2365214

2. Click on Job Requisition and select the Requisition template to be edited
3. Click on "## Fields defined. Click to modify":

6. On the top left, select Add > Standard Job Code Field and add a new entry for the new field
• Note: The field-id name should match the mapped field.

7. Define the permissions for the new field under "## Field Permissions defined. Click to modify"
8. Save the changes on the template and then Publish
9. Validate if the new field is visible and populates data for the Job Code selected
