ASE outputs a different warning message for each Resource Limit type. @@error is not reflecting the message number for some Limit types.
The message numbers for the various Resource Limit warnings are:
11001 Row Count exceeded
11002 Estimated IO cost exceeded
11003 Actual IO cost exceeded
11004 Query Batch running time exceeded
11005 Transaction running time exceeded
11056 Tempdb space usage exceeded
