2573993 - Database error: dberror(PreparedStatement.executeUpdate): 301 - unique constraint violated when you try to make a change to a dimension property (attribute), identifier (ID), description or hierarchy value in SAP Analytics Cloud (BOC)

The following error occurs  in SAP Analytics Cloud when you try to make a change to a dimension property (attribute), identifier (ID), description or hierarchy value:

• Database error: dberror(PreparedStatement.executeUpdate): 301 - unique constraint violated: Table(t.8::MSTR_<Dimension>C5B8255A45437F9CE10000000A78A056)
• Error de base de datos: dberror(PreparedStatement.executeUpdate): 301 - unique constraint violated: Table(t.3::MSTR_<Dimension>5712F5ABEC6D63FE10000000A68988A)
  
  

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2017.23.1

This issue is resolved in version 2018.01

Workaround: 

1. Open the dimension in the modeler.
2. Save the model without making any changes and get the message "Model X has been updated successfully".
3. You can then modify the dimension (ID, property / attribute).
